Can it be really true that Windows 7 boot up time is actually slower than Windows Vista. Well according to iola Technologies it appears that during testing of brand new pc machines one loaded with Vista and the the other with Windows 7 the Windows 7 machine took longer to boot up. Here is a quote from the article;
“According to iolo’s tests, Windows 7 starts up 42% slower than Vista — one minute, 34 seconds versus one minute, six seconds — on a brand new machine when the time trials are run to the point where the machine is usable, at least by iolo’s standards.”
That really is too bad since we here had high hopes for Windows 7 and actually we still do. We anticipate there might be some fixes to this boot up time things as boot up time on pc machines has become quite a hot topic lately.
