Having a beach wedding is the dream of an increasing amount of young couples, as the cost can be significantly lower than a traditional church ceremony, and as fancy as you wish to pay for. That is the best thing about them, they are wonderfully casual, and tend to be less uptight and formal affairs than a typical wedding and you are probably going to have less guests to worry about, so those who are a little nervous are probably going to appreciate that in the end.
Beach Wedding Supplies You Might Consider
The first thing a young lady will need is an appropriate dress. You don’t have to wear the taffeta cupcake that many brides opt for in traditional settings, but it should be tasteful and cover the body well. I am not a big fan of the “wedding bikini”, after all your dad will probably be there and doesn’t like seeing his daughter served up like a Christmas ham. You will want to think elegant, not, Malibu. Light fabric that breathes well and kind of “floats” is going to be a good beach look, and rather than a big fluffy outdated veil you might go for flowers in your hair, lilies in particular will look really fresh and nice in a bride’s hair.
Another idea is candles and shell arrangements for the tables, they are going to be cheaper than fresh flowers and can be reused, so you may be able to rent them. Food offered can be anything from finger foods and cocktails to a fine feast of salmon, sea bass, or shellfish. Great oceanside colors include light blue, yellow, and sage green. Find something that works for you and have fun while you do it. That is the great thing about picking out beach wedding supplies, use your imagination and get creative!
