The most exciting and new ccg is the PK card game. Every player gets a deck of 69 cards and one avatar. Every player starts with 4 karma and no prestige. Avatar cards are a physical representation of you in the game. Every card has different abilities and may need a different deck design. Power cards provide a bonus on the game state.
To attack in the game, you use troop cards; troop cards are also used to defend. A game consists of seven matches, whoever wins each match gets a prestige point. In the first match, all players reveal their avatar. Players then draw the number of cards that they have left in matches. The first time everyone draws 7, then 6, and so on. On the first turn of every player can discard 2 cards and draw 2 cards, for the cost of one karma point.
A player can end his turn with a troop card or an influence card. The power of attackers is compared to the power of defenders. If a player has a troop card out on the table and no staff, they get -2 for every lower troop of the same type. A legend gets -6 to it’s attack and defense if it is bot backed by a henchmen and there is not a champion in play.
If there is a tie in the conflict, players will trump each other. They will compare their elementals, water beats fire and so on. If there is still a tie, this is when PK happens. The PK collectible card game got it’s name from PK. To PK, the top card in all players decks is turned over. The attacker has an attack power of the card he flipped over, and the defender has a defending strength of the card he flipped over. Influence or power cards in play have zero affect.
Which player has the higher number wins, if there is a tie, the process is done again until there is a winner. After a winner for the PK is determined, players then can resume to using their special abilities and return troops to their battle lines.
That is all the basics to the PK collectible card game. Try the game out for your self and se how you like it.
