Have you been thinking of remodeling your home or office with a new floor? The demands of that job are amazing. If you are remodeling more than six offices you may want to consider hiring a company to do the job. However if this is a job that you can handle yourself you may want to consider industrial carpet or industrial carpet tiles. These carpets can be used indoor or outdoor.
When installed indoors the carpets can be used for any room in the house or the office building. When installed outdoors the carpet can be used on an enclosed patio or on a porch to give it a more comfortable feel. The great thing about industrial carpets is that they resist wear, UV light, pool chemicals, and salt water. That is why businesses like hotels and office buildings use industrial carpet.Industrial carpets do not have many ideal conditions that they need to be installed in. It is preferred that the carpet be installed in a room that has less moisture. So the living room, dining room, closet or in an office or hallway are preferred areas for the industrial carpet to be installed.
Industrial carpets come in many colors and styles. Some of those styles are Berber or even multi-colored interlocking rubber. These are not always as durable as their fabric styled counterparts as exposure to the light and weather will cause eventual cracking and the breakdown of the material.
Installing industrial carpet is fairly simple depending on the style that you would like to install. We will use Berber for the facts on installing. After having removed the old carpeting, any padding, and all glue materials from the underlying surface which could be either wood or concrete, sweep away all dust and debris. Then cure and dry the concrete floor. Padding and carpet are best installed over the glue when the temperature is between 65-95 degrees.
