But because the internet is so big, the key to effective law firm internet marketing is creating a bunch of small but reliable client portals that continue to grow over time.
For example, imagine that you want to be a lake. The easiest way to become a lake would be to have a major river just fill you up. But in reality there are only 3 or 4 major rivers in the world. So, instead, to get filled up, you must go out and find a bunch of small streams that will send their water your way. Over time all of those small streams add up to the equivalent of the large river, and all of a sudden you’re a lake.
It works the same way here. Your search engine marketing operations will grow little by little over time, continuing to pull more and more people in. One day you’ll look up and see that you’ve got a lot of steady business coming in, and all that hard work has paid off.
